Objectives:
- I can write the linear equation of a graph given two points on the line.
What is a linear equation?
A linear equation has two variables that when graphed it creates a straight line.
You have previously learned how to write a linear equation given a graph. If you recall, you needed the slope and y-intercept. You found the slope by performing rise over run. In this case, you will also need the slope and y-intercept but instead of performing rise over run, you will use the slope formula to find the slope between two points.

Now, let's look at an example! Remember, we need two pieces of information: (1) Slope and (2) y-intercept.
Let's look at one more example when we have two points with the same y-coordinate.
